Roofing and solar in Kissimmee
Kissimmee Utility Authority serves much of the city. Nearby streets can be a different utility.
The roofs
Kissimmee and the Osceola suburbs are newer roofs, HOA architectural committees, and a lot of concrete tile and architectural shingle. The houses are larger than the Deltona stock and the pitches are still moderate. Insurance, not just leaks, is why people reroof: age of cover, and a mitigation form the carrier will accept.
The solar
KUA is municipal. Use KUA’s export rules if KUA sends the bill. These roofs are often solar-ready once the cover is in its first half of life. Short-term rental houses can land in a different rate class — this practice is residential, and a rental meter needs its own reading.
